Jerri Jensen is proprietor, chef and the creative power behind Global Fork Catering. She began her first career with an Interior Design degree working in corporate America for both Pizza Hut Corporation and Sprint.
Living in the Virginia suburbs of Washington DC for 10 years is where her "foodie" side took over. D.C. area restaurants honed her love of great food, well prepared and served at everything from 5-star restaurants, like the Inn at Little Washington, to the local dive on the banks of the Chesapeake Bay, serving fresh caught blue crab.
International travel is also a love of the Chef. She has traveled to over 28 countries and all 50 states in the US. During her trips exploring what the "locals" eat and where they shop for their food is interesting to Jerri. When it came time to name the company, she knew it had to be about foods she has experienced during her globe trotting; hence the name Global Fork.
After many years of dreaming of attending culinary school she made it a reality at Johnson County Community's School of Culinary Arts. She has worked for several caterers developing her skills preparing for the day when she would launch Global Fork Catering. That day has arrived and Chef Jerri is well positioned to provide you with exemplary customer service, creative party themes and food that taste as great as it looks.
